Meeting and making friends with Mobians...Ahh, yes: lovely, indeed. A big blue dragoness sighed to herself, thinking about how cute her recent friend was.  Rob was his name, and even though they have known each other for two weeks, they've became close friends.  He and Tulip has had their fair share of thrills and spills, like how she brought him in as something for her students to see and know that Mobians not only exist, but are quite social.

She couldn't help but think over the flight over to her class that day: Rob having to be in a backpack, a little scared from how high and fast she was flying even though he was in it the whole time.  Maybe I can take him for a little flight around the meadows...or over the forest?  Yes that would work---but he's never ridden one before, so riding me without the proper gear could leave him injured.  Oh! She then turns to a chest nearby, big enough for her to use for storage and as a workbench.  Tulip trotted over and opened it up and inside was a few small patches of thick leather: too small to make even a bracelet, but big enough to make a saddle for Rob.  "Perfect!" She exclaimed in joy.  Quickly realizing that her small friend could have heard her, she shuts her muzzle, and begins to work on the saddle, looking in a few books as references.

"This goes there, that goes here..." the dark blue dragoness mutters to herself, carefully working on the seat of the saddle, then a wide handlebar in front on the saddle, and then the stirrups and two different straps: one around her neck and two more to keep the rider on.  Carefully, she placed it on the back of her neck a few feet behind her head and fastened it securely.  Next, she went over to a mirror to admire her works and was about to leave before... "Oh, scales.  Goggles!" From her little interview with Rob, his eyes aren't really meant for high winds, so goggles are needed.  Thankfully, she had a spare she kept hidden from even the keenest eyes.  "That's better!"

Tulip had already set out to find Rob, excited to properly share the experience of flying.  After all, Camelia's bitter temper made him think dragons will attack whoever and whatever gets too close to them.  Her eyes catches onto a brown Mobian dog below, yellow and black shoes, clothes and gloves making him stand out from the surrounding area.  She let's out a happy roar before flying down to him, and carefully lands nearby while clenching the goggles in her left paw.

"Hey, Tulip!" Rob greeted, a wide grin on his white muzzle, "Didn't expect you to come out here!" He was about to say more, then notices the saddle on her neck.  Curious, he asks, "Is that a saddle?"
"Yes, it is!" Tulip beamed.  "I figured that you might like to fly safely, considering how you nearly...well, you know." she shyly shrugged before bring her left paw out to him, opening it to reveal... "GOGGLES?!" Rob shouted in shock.  "So we're actually gonna go fly?" Tulip just nodded as a response as she lowers her head to his level.  Rob snapped the eyewear on, and steps up to his large friend.  "Now put your left foot in the stirrup, then as you hop up, swing your right leg over and fit it in the other stirrup.  Also, I added the straps on just in case." Tulip explained.

A bit nervous, he does what he is told, securing himself with the straps that went over his shoulders.  "Please be gentle." Rob requested.  "Just hold on tight to that bar in front of you and don't let go, okay?" his temporary "mount" advised, slowly getting up.  Instinctively, Rob grabbed the handle in front of him tightly as she got up, and about a moment later, he heard the snaps of dragon hide being stretched open.  Okay...it's okay...you're arse is fastened dowm better than a stunt pilot in a biplane. He took a few deep breaths and signaled Tulip he was ready.  She felt him crouch a little and closed his eyes tight, braced for a take-off that might make a catapult on an aircraft carrier look more like a common slingshot.  What he got instead was a strong lurch and a lot of wind.

Tulip gradually gained speed as she buzzed the treetops below, her wings flapping a couple more times before she levels out.  "Doesn't this look nice, Rob?" She calls back over the wind.  Rob sheepishly opened one eye, and saw the forest below, flying away behind him.  He tried to follow it, but only to see Tulip's wings and his spikes flapping around, and of course her rump, hind legs and tail.  "Whoa..." he whispered to himself.  "THIS IS SO BLOODY AWESOME!!" He yelled, fist pumping the air as he held onto the handlebar with his other with Tulip looking back at him, smiling.  The flight continued until it was close to midday, and Tulip started her flight back.  "Besides my legs feeling numb, that was so much fun!" Rob announced to her.  A soft purr-like noise was heard from her neck as she approaches her den, landing with grace.  "Of course, my widdle puppy~" Tulip flirted as he got off, removing the goggles and kissing her neck before limply walking off, only to get a unexpected hiss on his back by the big blue dragon he just rode.

"Hey!" Rob shouted teasingly, playfully batting her snout.  "Tee-hee!" Tulip giggled.

Based off of this pic: robthehoopedchipmunk.deviantar… I felt like his comic needed something after it ended, and it needed a back story, and since I might get a free request out of this, why the hell not?  Also, the "Oh, scales" thing I got from Keoma2121 while we were RPing...basically what her OC Metaza (now Metaza Elementa: www.deviantart.com/art/MetazaE… ) said during said RP. XD
