[Gift] A Fox and a Ryumus WIP

"Enjoying the ride?" Kasane asked, his mane flying all over the place and tickling Anima.  "I'm loving it!" replied the Princess of the Wind as she hugged the ryumusi's neck, her cape billowing over her back and tail with her whipping hair, her war dress snapping between her smooth, powerful legs.


     Just something I did for fun, practice, and school.  Kasane Kyohaku (Formally known as Ryumus Firetron) giving Anima a very fast, windy ride on his shoulders and neck, and Anima is enjoying it as her big cotton cape and war dress crack like bullwhips from the violent gales, and the feeling of Teukae's mane blowing into her face, and along her beautiful body.  I made this for SirKiljaos since he did his character Anima riding on my OC Skyla, and since we did a little RP from 11/8/14 to 11/11/14 about an event like this, I though "Ehh, why not?"

     I was looking through Baron-Engel's gallery one day, and in the description of one of his pics of Rosemary---his sexy anthro skunk---my eyes caught on the line "Don't look at it, observe it", so I took that into though while making this, since I'm trying to learn how to do big-body drawings like he and Kil do for theirs.  Sure I've only done Firetron and not my others (Sparx, Dronewolf, and my latest one Auluma), but that's because clothes are pretty damn hard for me to do, especially when they're flapping all over the place.

     However, making Anima was basically the hardest part of this whole thing, since SirKiljaos might have not done a picture of her flat on her belly, it was hard to do the atonomy of her back, head, and shoulders, so I had to look through some pictures on my VITA for references, including an anthro Trixie beach shot by newyorkx3, a picture of an anthro "Cosmic Wolf", and another pic of Derecho flying with his big cape billowing behind him.  And MY GAWD, this took so bloody long for me, because I had to redo Kasane's head four times, Anima 3 times, her tail twice, Kasane's neck 3 times, Anima's feet 5 times, and her muzzle 12 or so times.

     I am however glad that I got Teukae's head down almost perfectly: the muzzle is absolutely PERFECT!  Though since my friend Keoma2121 has yet to have done a pic of a ryumus in-flight, I might as well make up part of it for her.  It was also tricky to have Anima in the right place, since Keoma has only one hint of a ryumusi's height: 13'0", basically double the height of Celestia from MLP: FiM, so I had to work it off from there, so...yeah...  Anyways, the patterns on the foreleg was a last-minute add-in, just for more practice. =3

PLEASE keep in mind that I still need to digify the pic, which could take a LONG while.  Toodles~


P.S.: The ryumusi species belongs to Keoma2121.

UPDATE 11/14/2014: I just recently found out that I need to make Anima's body shorter, her upper legs thicker, and her arms shorter.
